The International Padel Players Association (IPPA) announces that Lucía Sainz Pelegrí submitted her resignation as President of the association yesterday, May 19.
At a meeting held yesterday afternoon, the Board of Directors accepted her resignation and would like to publicly thank Lucía Sainz for her years of dedication to IPPA and her work in support of the growth and strengthening of women’s padel. On behalf of the collective, the Board wishes her all the best for the future.
In order to ensure institutional continuity and in accordance with the law and the association’s bylaws, Vice President Gemma Triay will assume the presidency on an interim basis until the end of the current season, during which the Board of Directors has agreed to call elections for its full renewal. Likewise, Board Member Lara Arruabarrena will assume the role of Vice President of IPPA.
